Crochet is a fine motor skill that involves eye-hand coordination and patterning. Proportion, gauge, geometry, topology, graph theory, number theory and hyperbolic plane are all concepts that are taught through this age-old craft. Learning crochet is learning a life-skill. This year we will also explore some weaving projects Students meet 2 days a week at recess time and are invited to attend Saturday meetings 4-5 times a year
Crochet Club starts meeting in October.
Open to: 3rd-5th grade students
Meeting Time: Lunch time recess and some Saturdays during the year.
