Welcome to Vilseck Elementary School, home of Larry the Lion and a community where every child, family, and staff member is seen, valued, and empowered to grow.

At VES, we believe that strong schools are built on authentic relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to every student's success. Our work is grounded in DoWEA's Blueprint for Continuous Improvement and its vision of excellence in education for every student, every day, everywhere. Continuous school improvement is not just a framework here, it is a mindset we live out daily. This year, our two school goals reflect that commitment: in literacy, we are focused on strengthening written expression, and in math, we are deepening students' ability to model and reason through problems. These goals are not just data targets, they are our promise to students and families that we are paying attention to what matters most.

I know that raising children in a military community comes with unique challenges and transitions, and I want you to know that VES is a place where your child will be known by name, supported with intention, and celebrated for growth. This is a true partnership, and your involvement makes us better.
