What's Roaring this week?

Lion Families:

We are excited to share some important updates and upcoming events with you.

We hope you all enjoy a wonderful and relaxing spring break! Don't forget to tag us in your spring break photos on Facebook, and we will repost them on our page.

Please note that there will be no school on April 7 due to teacher professional development.

Month of the Military Child (MOMC) Celebration We are thrilled to announce that we will kick off our MOMC celebrations with a clap-in/cheer-in on Tuesday, April 8 at 8am. Parents and students are encouraged to bring clappers, whistles, signs, and anything else to make our students feel special. We have many exciting activities planned throughout the month, so stay tuned for more details!

Spirit Week When we return from spring break, we will have a fun-filled Spirit Week to celebrate our school spirit and unity:

  • Tuesday: Patriotic Day
  • Wednesday: Purple Up Day (every Wednesday in April)
  • Thursday: Hero Day
  • Friday: School Spirit Wear

Lost and Found We encourage everyone to check the lost and found for any missing items. The lost and found is located in the main hallway, and we have accumulated quite a collection of items that need to be claimed.

Pre-K Spotlight This week and last week, our Pre-K students dove into the theme of buildings through fun and engaging activities across all stations! In the Library, they explored books about different structures. Outside, they took a walk around our school to notice and document its features. With blocks and art, they used real building images to spark their creativity. In Toys and Games, they built structures with interlocking blocks, Lego skyscrapers, and even Hula Huts with hula hoops. We learned about tools, hard hats, and safety while building, read The Three Little Pigs, and created a chart about what we know about buildings. Teachers carefully documented each child’s discoveries and insights throughout the week! Check out the pictures below.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. Let's make the rest of the school year memorable and full of joy!

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Charlotte's incredible journey and wishing her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
